Professional Services Manager, Place & Sites Delivery Team

Starting salary £41,691, CDC Band L
Based in Pool, fixed-term contract for 2 years

The Cornwall Development Company, Place & Sites Delivery Team has secured project funding to support the delivery employment space and associated infrastructure with investment from the Convergence Programme. In order to bring this about a professional services manager is needed to achieve the placement of this investment in multiple projects for the remaining period of the Programme.
We are looking for an exceptional manager whose substantive role will be working in CDC’s Place & Sites Delivery team to successfully facilitate Convergence funding applications from the private and public sector, under the guidance of the Place & Sites Delivery Manager.
You will need the appropriate level of experience and skills that demonstrates successful:-

• A self starter  with experience of construction project management of the development of commercial buildings and associated infrastructure;
• Consultant and Construction procurement processes & management, reviewing cost plans and specifications for commercial buildings and infrastructure;
• Problem solving, negotiation and project management of multi- faceted project stakeholder interests;
• Delivery of project objectives on time and on budget;
• Direct or indirect line management.
