Support for Partnerships

Contract Services provide advice, guidance, advocacy and contract/programme management services to partnerships and funding bodies throughout Cornwall.

The service has an established track record of supporting partnerships on the route to success across the private, public and voluntary sectors. This includes practical assistance with organisational structures and constitutions as well as advice on membership.

Comprehensive secretariat services are also provided to partnerships, removing the stress of organising meetings, framing agendas and taking minutes; ensuring that meetings run effectively and in line with relevant constitutions.

We have established a long and successful track record of managing funding schemes on behalf of various partnerships within Cornwall, including the Single Regeneration Budget, Neighbourhood Renewal Fund and Objective One schemes. More recently this includes key investment programmes under Convergence including the Local Action Groups, Cornwall Works for Social Enterprise and Cornwall Works for Learning Disabilities. The support includes monitoring, performance management services as well as fund/contract management.

We deliver an objective and robust appraisal service, assessing projects against funding criteria as well as their readiness and ability to deliver against forecast objectives. It includes comprehensive risk, options and value for money assessments. The appraisals lead to balanced conclusions and recommendations to partnerships on their suitability to proceed and be granted funding support.
