Superfast Cornwall is a ground-breaking programme to bring superfast broadband to Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, making it one of the best connected locations in the world.

Funded by the EU, BT and Cornwall Council, and managed by Cornwall Development Company, this is the largest ever single European investment in superfast broadband infrastructure.

Making use of fibre optic broadband, Superfast Cornwall will bring fast broadband connections to businesses, individuals and communities across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.  Superfast broadband will transform the way we all live, work and play.

If you run a business, superfast broadband will have a direct impact on productivity, transforming the way you connect with customers and suppliers. For people right across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, regardless of age or background, superfast broadband will unlock a whole new world of possibilities.

To introduce this kind of fast broadband infrastructure to a rural area is an immense engineering task and one that has never previously been tackled on this scale anywhere in Europe. It is expected that fibre optic broadband will be brought within reach of at least 80% of people in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, whilst we are aiming to use alternative technologies to bring fast broadband to everyone else by the end of the programme.
