Jobline Staffing - Cornwall Development Company’s recruitment and staffing agency – is looking to appoint a Payroll Supervisor.
 
This is a fast paced busy working environment, you will be someone who is able to work to tight deadlines, maintain accuracy with an attention to detail, able to communicate effectively with both candidates and clients. 
 
Responsibilities Include:
 
You will provide efficient and effective leadership on a weekly payroll of 250+ temporary workers. 
 
Supervision of the Jobline Staffing’s payroll function in order to ensure temporary staff are paid in line with payroll deadlines, clients are charged correctly
 
Maintain and update Jobline Staffing’s databases, records, payroll systems and pension provider - NEST.
 
Manage the back office functionality for Master Vendor Contracts; providing payroll, invoicing and accounting data and reports to agencies and clients accurately and within published deadlines.
 
To develop and preserve a good working relationship with managers, colleagues and temporary staff within Jobline Staffing, promoting an atmosphere of competency, confidentiality and trust.
 
Skills/experience required:
 
Demonstrable Finance / Payroll and accounts operational experience
 
AAT or equivalent payroll qualifications/experience
 
High level of competency using Excel
 
Proven administrative experience in a fast moving environment.
 
In depth knowledge of how to operate and format a variety of computer systems

Cornwall Agri-tech Project

The ERDF-funded Cornwall Agri-tech project is designed to increase the contribution that the Agri-tech sector makes to the economy of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The project is being delivered by a partnership involving Cornwall College, Duchy College, the University of Plymouth, the University of Exeter, Rothamstead Research and Cornwall Development Company (CDC). 

Therefore CDC is looking to recruit to the following roles, which will contribute towards delivering the business engagement elements of the project. 

Cornwall Agri-tech Business Engagement Manager (x2)

Salary £30,490 per annum

37 hours per week

Redruth, Cornwall 

Fixed-term to 30 November 2019

The Agri-tech Business Engagement Managers will drive the development of the Agri-tech sector in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, with each manager focussing on one of the two key business areas; (1) technology and resource management, and (2) animal health and speciality crops. This will be achieved by providing a high quality service to businesses currently involved in the Agri-tech sector and/or to businesses that could provide goods/services relating to the sector in the future. Responsibility for assisting businesses with applications to the Agri-tech voucher scheme and working in partnership with the other delivery partners will also form part of the roles.

Cornwall Agri-tech Administrator

The Agri-tech Administrator will support the Agri-tech Business Engagement Managers through the delivery of a comprehensive and effective administrative function, with particular responsibility for managing the administrative functions related to voucher scheme processes.   

The post holder will also be the initial point of contact for enquiries to the project.
